# The Voice object

## Fields

- `provider` (enum (string), required): The provider of the voice. One of: `cartesia`, `elevenlabs`, `gradium`.
- `id` (string, required): The ID of the voice. Constraints: min length 1.
- `name` (string, required): The name of the voice.
- `description` (string, required): The description of the voice.
- `language` (enum (string), required): The language of the voice. One of: `en`, `fr`, `es`, `de`, `it`, `pt`, `ru`, `zh`.
- `accent` (string, optional): The accent/dialect of the voice (e.g. 'american', 'british', 'australian', 'quebec').
- `gender` (string, optional): The gender of the voice (e.g. 'male', 'female', 'neutral').
- `isCloned` (boolean, optional): Whether this is a cloned voice.
- `modelCompat` (enum (string), optional): Cartesia model compatibility. Used to filter the voice list by the selected model. Absent/undefined is treated as 'universal'. One of: `universal`, `sonic-3`, `sonic-3.5`, `sonic-3.6`.
